The claimant provided a signed construction contract and voucher receipt for the downpayment.

Under the direction of the Finance Officer, the Cashier would assist in the disbursement of payments to vendors and staff, either in the form of cheques or electronic funds transfers; issue cash receipt vouchers for each receipt and record them; be responsible for the safe custody of the physical cash holdings (including petty cash) and the chequebooks of the mission; prepare a petty cash journal with proper supporting documents for replenishment; and ensure that disbursement vouchers and other financial documents are filled out properly.

The official receipt voucher for the contribution of Denmark, signed by the United Nations Treasurer on 1 April 2002, was received by the secretariat of the Fund on 18 April 2002.

(c) Contributions Clerk (General Service (Other level)), Contributions Service: Responsibilities would include preparing assessment notes for the various peacekeeping operations; processing cash receipt vouchers for contributions received from Member States; preparing documentation in respect of outstanding assessed contributions; and assisting in the preparation of monthly reports on the status of the assessed contributions for peacekeeping operations.
