• The Federal Constitutional Court was called upon to rule on the constitutionality of the exclusion of Italian military internees from the scope of the Law on the Creation of a Foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” (“Erinnerung, Verantwortung, Zukunft”) (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation Law); decision of the Federal Constitutional Court of 28 June 2004; case No. 2 BvR 1379/01.
